Here are some messages received from people Pete rode with on the Spanish End to End and Manche to Med bike tours in 2018 and 2019 I am really sorry to hear this sad news.  I remember them both very well from the Spain E2E Sept 2018....such a nice couple, Pete so solicitous for Pip struggling with a bad knee but both still managing to enjoy the trip. So sorry to hear about Peter passing away.  What a great pair they were, always pushing on at the back but making the most of the world. An inspiration to all. That is so sad. Pete and Pip were great companions in Spain. Peter and I had a lot of interesting chats in France and he was particularly kind to me on the day I had heat exhaustion!  Gosh that’s sad news . Pete seemed so full of fun when we did the France trip . What a nice guy .
